Follow the steps below to set up your business account with JTV Partner Central.
The first section is creating an account on JTV Partner Central. This process is quick and easy to follow with the information below.
How to Sign Up for Partner Central
Step 1: Download the Google Authenticator app on the iPhone App Store or Google Play Store.
- For a smoother experience, download the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
- A second device such as a laptop or desktop computer is needed for authentication.
Step 2: Open the verification email on your second device (laptop/desktop) and complete the Create an Account page.
Your verification email will come from the email address, accounts@jtv.com. If the email does not reach you within a couple minutes, check your spam folder. In some cases, these emails can be blocked by the servers on the receiving end.
If the email is not in your spam folder, reach out to the Partner Central Success Team for information on how to whitelist the above address and receive future emails regarding account information.
- Once the email is opened on your laptop or desktop, click on Create an Account within the email.
- Your email address will appear in the box provided automatically.
- Fill out your first and last name.
- Create a strong password with a minimum of eight characters. It is advised that you use numbers and special characters to increase your password security.
- Confirm your password and click Create Account and you will be directed to the JTV Partner Central Sign In page.
Step 3: Sign into Partner Central.
- Using the account information that you provided in the last step, sign in to JTV Partner Central with your newly created account.
Step 4: Set up Two-Step Authentication to increase security for your login.
The Google Authenticator app that you download will give a temporary 6-digit code to authenticate your sign-in.
- Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. Select Scan a QR code. If the app asks for permission to use your device's camera, please select OK or Allow.
- Aim your device's camera at the QR code on your laptop or desktop and scan it with the Google Authenticator app. A green box should appear on the app to frame the QR code in. The app will then recognize the QR code and automatically link your Partner Central account to Google Authenticator.
- The app will then provide you with a temporary 6-digit code. Enter this code into the box on the Partner Central sign-in page.
- The 6-digit code will expire after 30 seconds. If the code expires, enter the most recent code presented on the app.
- You must also enter a device name such as “MyPhone” in the box beneath Device Name to proceed.
- Make sure the code is still active, then click the button labeled Verify OTP and Update.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code again on the next page, making sure that the new code has not expired, then click Sign In.
Step 5: Verify your email address.
- Once you are signed in, check your inbox for an email from JTV.
- Click the link to e-mail address verification button in your email to verify your account. From there, you will be directed to the page to complete the next stage of joining Partner Central: registering your account.
