Adding a Shipping and Return Address

Do I need to add an address to my account?

Your account will have a business address linked to it from when you first created your account. You need to add an address for the following situations:

  • To establish an Inventory Receiving Address, Customer Shipping Address, Customer Receiving Address or a new Inventory Shipping Address.
  • To replace your business address to ship inventory product(s) from.

However, an Inventory Shipping Address is only necessary if you need to ship inventory products from a location other than your business address.

What is the difference between Inventory Shipping Address and Customer Shipping Address?

A shipping address is an address where you ship your inventory product(s) such as a customer or JTV.

  • Inventory Shipping Address - Products shipped from the JTV facility will go to this address. JTV will ship your inventory product(s) directly to the customer through JTV shipping.
  • Customer Shipping Address – Products shipped by you directly to the customer's address without using JTV shipping.  This feature is available through the "Drop-Ship Option" during account registration. 

What is the difference between Inventory Return Address and Customer Return Address?

A return address provides an address for customers to ship product(s) back to a JTV facility or any of its partners for a refund or exchange.

  • Inventory Return Address JTV will return the inventory product to this address. This address is for any location you would like your inventory product(s) returned to you from a JTV facility.
  • Customer Return AddressThe customer can return inventory product(s) directly back to you through this address without JTV shipping or through a JTV facility.

How do I add a shipping address to my account?

  1. Click on Settings from the dashboard on the left-hand side of the screen, then choose Address from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the "Address Settings" page.
  2. Select + Add Address in the bottom right corner of the page. This will open the "Add Address" screen.
  3. In the Add Address screen, fill out the detail boxes that are presented. When completed, click the Add Address button on the bottom right corner of the screen. Your newly entered address will appear under "Saved Addresses" at the bottom of the Address Settings page.
  4. Select + Inventory Shipping Address near the top of the page to add your shipping address when mailing inventory to JTV. You can click and select a saved address, add a new address or edit an existing address by clicking on the pencil icon next to the address.
  5. To ship inventory directly to the customer, select + Customer Shipping Address. This process is the same as the process above.  
  6. Be sure to click Save when finished.

How do I add a return address to my account?

  4. Select + Inventory Returns Address near the top of the page to add your shipping address when receiving inventory from JTV. You can click and enter a saved address, add a new address or edit an existing address by clicking on the pencil next to the address.
  5. To receive inventory directly from the customer, select + Customer Returns Address and choose from the same options as the previous step. 
  6. Be sure to click Save when finished.

Managing your addresses is important for successfully transporting your product(s) to or from your customers and JTV.
