Learn how to list your loose gemstones products on JTV Partner Central.
The process of creating a listing in JTV Partner Central applies generally to both jewelry and gemstones. So as you create loose gemstones listings, some fields will correlate directly to jewelry products. To avoid confusion, this article will address the fields that need to be completed in order to successfully create a loose gemstone listing in JTV Partner Central.
Pricing Gemstone Listings or Adding Media to Listings will happen at the end of the listing creation process. But if you want to know more, read more about this part of the process in the articles linked above.
First things first, log into Partner Central and go to the dashboard.
1) Select Product Listings and then Manage Listings.
When you click Manage Listing, two browser tabs will open: one labeled Dashboard and the other labeled Manage Listings.
2) Click on the Add Product tab.
Start with the Manage Listing tab. Select the relevant category and sub categories from the first drop down menu.
Here are your options:
- If you're offering gemstone parcels, select Gem Material Parcel.
- If you're offering sets of gemstones, select Gem Material Sets.
- If you're offering singular loose gemstones, select Gem Material Singles.
Choosing Gem Materials Singles will open another sub category with the options listed below.
- Single Gemstone (for all color gemstones and diamonds)
- Single Other Setting Material (for crystal, glass, wood, etc.)
- Single Pearls (for pearls)
- Single Rough and Specimens (for uncut or unpolished material)
For the educational purposes of this article, we will select Single Gemstone. Click Select at the bottom of the window to progress to the next step.

3) Begin working through the listing process.

Enter the product ID or SKU for the item |

Choose Single Gemstone from the dropdown if you are listing one gemstone. Select the option that best applies if your product is not a single gemstone. |

Country of Origin (Manufacture) |
Note that this field refers to the country the stone was cut and polished, not where it was mined. |

Harmonized Tariff Schedule Classification |
Locate the Tariff Code based on your product attributes |

On Air Description |
Character limit of 100 characters, no punctuation. |

Same as On Air Description (above) |

Long Description |
Include a description of your loose gemstone listing along with any relevant certificates. |
Click Save and Continue to move to the next page.
If you're not ready to move on to the next page, just click Save instead.

- Select one of these fulfillment services to apply to this item.

Use auto search to your advantage to fill out these questions. Begin typing to search through the relevant answers and select the one that fits best.
Most of these options are mandatory for you to complete your listing. Here are a few that are optional:
- Optical Phenomena
- Simulant Gemstone
- Birthstone Month
- Cut Grade
- Color Grade
- Clarity
Please Note: Leave the Gemstone Brand and Cut Brand blank.

When filling out this section, it’s wise to remember that some selections have automatically been made for you.
For the field titled Age Group, “Adult” will automatically be selected. If you click this field to edit it but click off it to leave it as “Adult”, remember to reselect that option before you save and continue. Otherwise, the Age Group will be deselected and left blank.
In order to show up in relevant searches, you must have an Age Group selected, so this is an important step to take. Here are the prompts you’ll be asked to answer in this section:

Leave the default set as Adult for loose gemstones. |

Leave the default set as Unisex for loose gemstones. |

Occasion does not apply for loose gemstones. Leave blank. |

Certifying Organization |
If the gemstone has a certificate or lab report that comes with it, select the certifying organization from the list. If not, leave it blank. |

Select the certificate type that the certifying organization has provided. If not, leave it blank. |

The attributes of the listing you’ve created will be populated here.
All you’ll need to do is the following:
- Click on Go within the box titled Level 1: Style.
- Click on Go within the box titled Level 2: SKUs.
- Underneath Configuration Rule at the top of the page, click Save & Show Matrix.
Generate Product Hierarchy

The configuration matrix that you see on the next page will have taken all the product variations you listed into consideration and assembled them into a product hierarchy.
Please thoroughly check this hierarchy for accuracy before proceeding. If any of this information is not correct, click on Configuration Rule. Doing so will take you back to the next step to make any corrections necessary.
Once correct, simply press Save & Show Matrix to return to the Generate Product Hierarchy page.
If the information you now see is correct, select the box next to each line of the hierarchy until it appears blue with a white checkmark inside. Once you’ve selected the boxes, click Generate at the top of the page, then select Submit to officially enter your product listing.
After you have pressed Submit, you can safely click Close at the upper right.
