Pricing Loose Gemstone Listings

For a visual walkthrough of this part of the process, click here.

After you’ve created a listing for your loose gemstone products, the next step will be pricing them. While the pricing process is similar for all listings, this particular article will focus on listing loose gemstones.

Please Note: The supplier price that you enter into Partner Central is the total price of the gemstone and not the price per carat. For example, if you want to charge $10 per carat and the gemstone in question is three carats, the value you enter will be $30.

How to Price Your Loose Gemstone Listings

Now that you’ve created your listing, it’s time to enter cost information.

1) Start on the Dashboard and select Product Listings, then Manage Pricing.

2) Enter the price for each created listing.

Under the column entitled Supplier Price, there will be a field for the prices for listing.

Please note that you should enter the cost of the item at this stage of the process, not the price that the customer will see while shopping on JTV.

Here’s a few tips to help you price your items correctly within Partner Central:

  • Only use numbers.
  • Do not use currency symbols.
  • Do not use commas.

If your gemstone costs $10,500,  it should be entered into the Supplier Price field as 10500

3) Select Submit Pricing in the bottom right corner of the window.

After submitting the pricing you’ve chosen, you have successfully priced your listings.

The next stage in the process will be Adding Media to Your Listings, which you can learn more about in the help article linked above or in this instructional video
